Drydock Center is a fully modern building and is kept versatile and functional with annual capital improvements.
Common Area Modernization - A thorough modernization of all common areas is nearly complete including new wood/epoxy floors, modernized bathrooms, and energy efficiency improvements.
Café with Patio Seating - Planned for 2010-11.
New Lobby - Planned for 2012.
Rooftop Expansion - Drydock Center is at the gateway to Boston's inner harbor. A three story major expansion of the building - determined feasible and in schematic design - would make an extraordinary statement for a tenant seeking a high profile signature location with the best harbor view in Boston.
Energy Efficiency - The building has had a top down retrofitting of energy consuming devices resulting in considerable energy savings. As the next phase of our ongoing efforts to improve energy efficiency, we are working on a wind/solar scheme that would make Drydock Center a nationally recognized “green building.”
